ERICH WOLFGANG KRÜGER

Erich Wolfgang Krüger, born in Güstrow, studied with Prof. Alfred Lipka at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin and won several international competitions. For twenty years, he was active as principal violist in various orchestras, including the Leipzig Radio Orchestra, the MDR Symphony Orchestra and the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin. He was a member of various chamber music ensembles, including the Bach-Collegium Stuttgart, the chamber orchestra "Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach" and the Victoria-Mullova-Ensemble. Concert tours have taken him to Europe, Asia, North and South America. He has participated in numerous radio, CD and television recordings. Teaching at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin since 1979, Erich Wolfgang Krüger has was appointed professor for viola at the Hochschule für Musik FRANZ LISZT Weimar in 1997..
